I traveled back to Massachusetts recently, back to the town I went to the Hallmark Institute Of Photography in. As I drove through familiar streets that I haven't driven in years, I felt very comfortable and proud that I was returning to do what I had gone to school for.
When Katelyn told me she was getting married in her backyard and having the reception under a tent, I figured it would be like many other backyard weddings I've seen. But I was in for a big surprise! So many great little details, such a gorgeous ceremony location (which was carved into the woods just for the wedding!), and a spacious reception setup!
That sign, the white rose petal aisle! So perfect! The heat was intense but that lush green forest was well worth putting up with the temperature! The ceremony was short but sweet, and included a tree planting ceremony. Which is such a great alternative to the unity candle or sand pouring ceremony!
I'm still fawning over her dress and flowers! Tulle and mint green leaves between white flowers? Come on! The love these two share is obvious in their photos.
The best speeches are the ones that get the couple to laugh like this!
