It's always an honor to be asked to photograph someones wedding day. It's a huge milestone for a couple, and I take great pride in being the person to capture it. But being asked to photograph my future mother-in-law's wedding was more than just an honor, it was so incredibly heartwarming to be able to capture the love between her and Jeff!
I arrived to their house (which is gorgeous, as you can see!), and things were in full swing! The reception was in their yard so there were people setting up, getting things in order, and Jeff was running a little late getting ready upstairs before Gisele! To make sure he didn't see her, she was hiding in their kitchen pantry for a while! Once she got started getting ready, all the little details fell into place perfectly.
The ceremony space was actually located behind the hospital Gisele works at. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it wasn't a gorgeous pavilion with a lake view, that's for sure! I'm pretty sure my jaw dropped when I saw this setting!
The ceremony was short and sweet - and perfectly Gisele and Jeff. Having known these two lovebirds for a while, the ceremony summed them up so well - filled with laughter, excitement, tears of happiness,
The gazebo and lake view were perfect for formal photos! I love when the best backdrop is nearby!
(Ugh, that one of Shane and Gisele just melts my heart! So cute!)
After the ceremony we headed back to their home to start the party! It was just the right amount of laid back, relaxed, and a celebration with family and friends.
And we'll end this blog with the reason I was there in the first place - because Shane made me a part of his family 3 (almost 4!) years ago. Look at that handsome face!
Ceremony Location: Hillcrest Gazebo on Lake Onota
