This summer has been full of rain and rescheduling sessions. Christine and Adam's engagement session was pushed back a week due to storms but we weren't off the hook so easily. As I pulled into Beaver Lake, the sky to the right was bright blue, and the sky to the left was almost black! We had to work quickly but luckily, I work well under pressure. We headed into the trails and got to shooting!
How gorgeous is Christine's dress?! I love the juxtaposition of such an elegant dress in a nature setting. Just perfect! These two didn't need much direction. Their affection came naturally and made my job easy (I just love when that happens!)
After walking around some trails we headed to the spot I had in mind, a row of tall lush pine trees. Unfortunately as soon as we go there, it started to down pour! I snapped off a few shots and we ran back to our cars - completely soaked!
Since their session was cut short, I offered to take a few more on a less rainy day. This time it was sunny and warm! I suggested they do some yoga because that is how they met. I love tying a story into all my sessions! I'm so excited for their big day coming up soon! Be sure to check back for their wedding photos!
