I met Brittany and Mark last summer. I actually photographed Mark's sister's wedding! Even though there was some rain that day, that was one of the most fun weddings I've ever had the pleasure of capturing. After seeing the photos from Nicole's wedding, Brittany and Mark said there was no doubt who they wanted to be their photographer. I think that's so sweet of them! I'm so excited to work with their friends and family again! For their engagement photos, we decided to take them at their venue, the Skaneateles Country Club. If you've never been there, it is beautiful! It gives off a very fancy, New England yacht club vibe! It's one of my favorite locations in Central New York. It was a little tricky to shoot this time of year because there are no flowers on the grounds and no boats in the water yet - but the light coming off the lake is magical! They picked the perfect outfits for this session! I adore that floral dress! Brittany also had her makeup done by M.U.S.T in Manlius, which totally pulls the look together! I had a blast with these two and I can't wait for their wedding this fall!
Their proposal story, in Brittany's words: "Mark proposed to me in Treasure Island, Florida! This is a place his family has vacationed since he was born! They would go every year and it is a super special place to them, and the most beautiful beach I have been to. He took me there with his family on our first vacation together! We went to Florida in November last year on what I thought was a trip just us two to get a break from our work life. Little did I know both of our families were there too. He proposed on the beach and our family started running down the beach as he proposed! It was such a special day. We spent the rest of the night celebrating with our family."
