Every week the local paper showcases a beautiful home that's on the market. Last year I was hired to be the person to photograph those homes! With my love for interior design and architecture, it's been a dream job! One of the very first houses I had to capture was a home in Delphi Falls, NY that had a waterfall... in it's back yard! A few months after the feature, the property was bought and the new owner actually gave the land to the state to make it a public park! When I found out, I knew I wanted to take some portraits there as soon as it opened!
Presley and Tom were the lucky couple to christen this location for me! And wow, did they knock it out of the park! These two were so fun to work with. They're little jabs one another, Presley's nervous laugher in front of the camera, the way they held onto one another - all made for get photos! They met in Alexandria Bay and were engaged in Old Forge. Presley said her and Tom went out to dinner and when they returned to their cabin, there were carved pumpkins on the porch that read "will you marry me?" (I freaking love that! So cute!) Their wedding is a year away so they've had a lot of time to plan, making things less stressful. Presley said she's looking forward to dancing the night away with loved ones on her wedding day!
When it came to their engagement session, this is how they felt about how it went!
"We've never had professional photos taken before so both of us really didn't know what to expect but you made us feel comfortable with your laid back personality. I liked that you had ideas and suggestions based on your experience. We definitely trusted you 100% to do your thing!"
